The Aquarium

Admiring the Pacific Sea Nettle...

This was a pretty exciting week for Hayden... he had his first trip to the Georgia Aquarium! We had an absolute blast! He really enjoyed getting to look at all the sea creatures. He especially liked when we would let him get up really close to the acrylic and "touch" everything! We even went through the Titanic exhibit which was pretty neat. Not a great idea to try to do with Hayden, but it was still neat to see all the artifacts. We definitely didn't get to read everything, but we did get to see it! We took a few pictures of some of our favorite creatures!

Didn't Matt get a great pic of this red lionfish?!?

We thought this weedy sea dragon was so cool!

Jaws... aka a sand tiger shark!
Doesn't he look like he would ea
t you?

This was a whale shark, and it was massive.
It doesn't look quite as ferocious as the sand tiger huh?!?

Just a few spotted garden eel... creepy!!!

I just had to get a pic of these kissing
yellowmouth grouper... too cute!

This little guy had the coolest name...
an elephantnose
fish!

Nandi, the manta ray... she was HUGE!!

We saw tons of other creatures, but it was impossible to get pics of them all! One of our favorite exhibits was the southern sea otters. They were so cute. We actually got to see them while they were being feed, so that was really neat. They LOVE their food... reminded me of Hayden! The biologists feeding them could get them to do almost anything for food... it was awesome. Next year they are going to be opening a dolphin exhibit... how fun!! That's all I have for you today... until next time here are a few more pics!

One of the beluga whales... so pretty!

Watching all the fisssssheeeeesss!!

Family pic!

Feeding the otter...

We love the aquarium!!

Hayden really wanted the camera!
