A few weeks back we took Hayden for his very first trip to Stone Mountain and he had such a great time. Well, he has seen it before when we went to Snow Mountain earlier in the year, but this was his first trip other than that! We did all kinds of fun things. We rode the train, rode the ducks, went to the top of the mountain, played in the barn and even went out on the lawn where the lasershow is for a few minutes. It was kind of hot to just be standing admiring the mountain, so we made that part as short as possible!:) I am sure we will try to go back when it cools off a bit, because there was much more we could have done... it was just SO hot! Hot or not, we all had a great time and can't wait to go back and have more fun soon. Next time we're gonna stay for the lasershow... I'm already preparing Hayden for his late night out!!! I just know he'll have fun playing on the lawn and even think he would love watching the show. I'll let you know soon enough!:)
This is how we got up that big piece of stone!!! One of these days,
(when not pregnant and not 100 degrees outside) we
will definitely have to climb to the top!:)

OK, so it was slightly on the sticky, hot side and the life jacket
was extremely confining, but we still managed to make it
through the ride. Hopefully next time he gets a "big"
boy life jacket so maybe he can breathe! He
did love the part where the duck
went into the water!:)

He is still loving making his souvenir pennies... he has
a pretty big collection now!!! Oh, and he's
really good at turning the cranks!

We tried to get a family pic with the mountain, but Hayden couldn't
quit looking the other way, and the nice lady taking
the pic couldn't quite figure out how to get the
mountain in the background!:)
