Three little lines means....

It's a GIRL!!!!

You read that right... Baby Ronn #3 is a GIRL!:) Yay! We couldn't be more excited! Although we would have been happy with either gender, we were way overdue for a little pink in this house! And it was definitely time for a few hairbows, dresses, fingernail polish and baby dolls! I'm pretty sure the boys aren't exactly thrilled about this part, but I'm jump out of my skin excited about it! Like wanted to go out shopping and buy all things girly yesterday excited! It's probably a good thing God gave us a girl last, because it will be a little more difficult for me to go overboard with two crazy boys in tow! Two crazy boys or not, I'm sure I'll find time for a little overboard though... after all she is going to be our little princess! I will be 17 weeks tomorrow, but we found out the gender at a 3D ultrasound this past Wednesday. I just never can make it to the 20 week mark! The ultrasound technician had told us at our 12 week appointment that she thought she saw three little lines meaning it was a girl, but we weren't convinced until we had the 3D done. The technician herself even told us not to hold her to it because it was still early(at 12 weeks) to be 100%, but the 3D technician was much more confident. Although the pictures are a little blurry, you can definitely tell it's a girl...

There are those three little lines... very blurry, yet very clear!:)

Even after I saw this I asked her if she was certain... I really can't believe it! For some reason all my babies like to face my placenta during ultrasound time which doesn't make for great pictures. Luckily, all the technicians we've had have managed to get a few pictures out of our sessions!

Gigi, Grandaddy and the boys spotting Baby Girl on the big screen!
Thanks to Daddy for this great pic!

I thought Hayden might be a little disappointed when we found out it was going to be a girl, because he had been saying he wanted it to be a little boy, but he now says he's super excited to have a princess coming to live with us!:) Sawyer on the other hand, I knew would be excited... he wanted a baby sister from the beginning!

There she is! A girly little princess already!

Fast little heartbeat!

Thanks to our good friend Poppy for the great idea, after we found out what it was we had my parents take some pictures of us opening up a box filled with the gender appropriate colored balloons. It was a bit bright outside, so the lighting isn't great, but they still turned out cute and it was a fun thing to do with the boys! They LOVE balloons! If only it hadn't been 105 degrees outside we may have done it a few more times!!!

You would have thought Hayden was opening up a present how
excited he got, but Sawyer wasn't too sure what to think!
Thanks Auntie May for the cute box!:)

A slight bit of excitement! I love all the excited faces, but Sawyer's
might be my favorite! He's like "What is going on?!?"

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's pink everywhere!

And we couldn't be happier!

A little crazy, but you know we like crazy around here!

Sawyer just double checking to make sure
the balloon reveal was finally over!

One of my favorites!

Thanks again for the idea Poppy! And, thanks to Auntie May for help with the box, and Gigi and Grandaddy for taking the pictures! Talk about family effort!:) Everything with Baby Girl looked good at the ultrasound. We got to see her tiny little arms and legs and the technician said everything else looked great. I still don't feel great all the time, but I guess that's what girls will do to ya!;) And, we still aren't set on a name, but as soon as we decide I'll be sure to update y'all! We sure can't wait to meet our sweet little girl in January!

Swim, fishy, SWIM!!!

Our little fish!

No, your eyes are not fooling you... that's little man Hayden swimming like a fish! He is loving the pool this year, and we couldn't be more proud of his swimming accomplishment! It is toddler swimming at it's finest! He's no pro or anything, but he can swim. We put him in swimming lessons at the beginning of the summer and then again a couple of weeks ago, and during that last session is when he officially started swimming on his own. It was the very last week of June. Ms, Kym was pretty amazing! Check it out...

You've gotta admit that's pretty awesome! And yes, that was a dive you saw in the middle of the video. Who knew you could teach a 3 year old to dive?!? Super cool! This was one of those 1 week long lessons where you go everyday for 30 minutes. It was really only about 20-25 minutes in the water each day, and by day 3 Hayden was already jumping off the diving board and swimming to the side by himself. It was pretty crazy. As a matter of fact, a couple of the clips from the video were from day 3 when Ms. Kym let Daddy, Sawyer and I watch for a few minutes at the end of class. Typically you do not get to watch them at all the first 4 days, but Hayden was pretty insistent on her letting us see him, so she obliged on day 3! We were shocked at his progress. I had imagined he would get better by taking this class, but I wasn't quite sure if I believed he would really swim. Let's just say I believe now. He did cry the first couple of days(honestly not very much), but by performance day(day 5) he was all smiles and ready to swim, swim, swim. There was no actual class on the last day, it was just a day for them to show off their new skills which was so great to get to see. So, in reality it was a 4 day lesson, but boy was that 5th day important. Hayden had told me every single thing they were going to do, in which order and how many times. He was very proud!:) Not only was it wonderful to get to see him, it was also great because Ms. Kym was able to tell me exactly what she had done during each exercise, and what I could do to continue with what she had taught him. I should note here that I was very reluctant to sign him up for this class because I pretty much had to sign his life away and not watch his lessons, but boy am I glad I bit the bullet and did it anyways. What a payoff. Now I just hope it sticks! By the looks of it, he's not forgetting it any time soon. Since the lessons have been over all he has wanted to do is swim. Every day I hear "Want to go to my pool today and swim?" He loves it.

Climbing up the ladder after swimming back to the side ALL.BY.HIMSELF!
Can you tell how much he is loving the swimming life?!?

Now you would think this new swimming thing has made my life much easier right?!? Well, not exactly. There are things that are easier(like not having to lug around 30 pounds!), but new challenges that have come up as well. We used to spend most of our time in the kiddie pool/zero entry part of our pool, where the boys could walk around and we could sit and watch and play with them. Although that wasn't always easy, neither is having two that want to do different things. Now all Hayden wants to do at the pool is go to the deep end and jump in and swim, which proves to be a little difficult when you also have a non-swimmer with you as well. At least Sawyer is a good sport and will sit on the side and watch his big brother for a little bit...

And occasionally squirt him with the water gun as he takes off!

Sweet little Sawyer!

Having fun splashing!

Taking his turn at the running jump-in!

I'm sure they will be jumping in together and out swimming their Momma in no time! Although that will make my pool life a little easier, I'm certainly not trying to rush it. Y'all know I like them little!:) Check out this picture of the three of us coming down the slide...

Weeeeeeeeeee!

This was one of those days where I had taken them to the pool and Daddy had to be at work, but they were just dying to go down the slide. Although Hayden could probably do this by himself, he still like for me to go with him, so our only option was to go all together. It was one of our crazier moments, but of course they loved it. I think they would have done it a million times if I'd have had the energy! Those stairs and super fast slide can be a killer! This last video is of Hayden at our pool a few days after he officially started swimming. His favorite thing to do right now is throw his ball in the water and then jump in and swim after it! It looks like it's going to be one wet summer for us!!! Good thing we're headed to the beach at the end of the week!:)

Coming Soon...

January 7, 2013 to be exact!

Boy or girl... not sure what it will be, but we are expecting Baby #3! I am exactly 12 weeks along and we are all super excited! I know y'all have been wondering where I've been considering I haven't had anything up here since Easter, and to be honest after about 8pm every night I am on the couch! It seems like when the clock hits 7:30pm, my body just starts screaming at me to sit down and by 8pm I usually give in and listen to it! Matt likes to call it my "night sickness"! Seeing as I usually get on the computer after that time to do blogging, etc., I've been a bit of a blog slacker lately! I promise I'll catch you up on all of our fun adventures we've been having, I just can't promise when!:) I am one of those people that loves being pregnant, no real morning sickness and hardly any complaints, but this time around the first trimester has been a little different for me. I still like being pregnant, and still don't really have any morning sickness, but I have been much more exhausted and actually a little anxious this time around. Kinda crazy, but true. You'd think the third time around I'd have this pregnancy stuff down, but I guess with two little ones to take care of too it's just a little different! If we are out and about doing things I usually don't even realize I'm pregnant(other than the belly I am already sporting - Yikes!), but if we are at home and night time comes I'm pretty much down for the count. I hope that lightens up here in the next week or two with the second trimester! I can't keep doing this 8pm thing! Other than that, it's been a great pregnancy so far. The doctors say everything looks great and the baby is developing just as it should be. Yay! I put a poll up during my last pregnancy with Sawyer, to see what everyone thought it was going to be, and it was a lot of fun, so I decided to do it again!

Do you think Baby Ronn #3 is a Boy or Girl?

Create a Blog Poll

Just for the record, Hayden thinks it is a baby BOY and Sawyer thinks it is a baby DRUL! They are so funny talking about it. We told them right when we found out a couple of months ago and they have been great about keeping our secret! Who knew such little boys could be so good at such a big task! They are SO excited about getting a new little playmate! Speaking of playmates, I'm pretty sure that is why Hayden is SO sure it's a baby boy... he NEEDS another one to play with!:) It's crazy how all the little pieces of rice look so similar at that first ultrasound...

Baby Hayden at 6 weeks!

Baby Sawyer at 7 weeks!

Baby Ronn #3 at 8 weeks!

We are all super excited about adding another little Ronn! January will be here before we know it! Can you tell the boys like looking at their new little family member?!?

Ooooo! Our new little brother or sister!

Check it out Mommy!

SO happy to be Big Brothers!

OK, so maybe Sawyer isn't completely sure yet!:)

As crazy as it is letting them come to the ultrasound appointments with us, they really do like seeing their baby! It's really cute... minus how loud that one little tiny room can get with all four of us in there! On another note, I couldn't do a blog update without a few recent pictures of the boys having a little bit of summer pool fun! They LOVE the water! I promise to get back on the blogging wheel ASAP! Enjoy!

Sawyer LOVES going down our slide...

Even when it comes to the splash!

Loving his time in the water!

Hayden absolutely LOVES jumping in the water!

He gets quite vertical, and believe it or not he
even learned how to dive this year!

And he can SWIM back to the side all by himself!
We are super proud of him!

He doesn't spend all his time swimming though... he makes
sure to squeeze in his time for playing water ball!

And we all love our time in wave pools! Super fun!

The summer is proving to be lots of fun for us and keeping us super busy! Next year we'll have another little Ronn to join in the fun with us! We can't wait for January!:)

EGGstra Special!!

Easter Morning... The Bunny came!!!

Oh how we love Easter time around here! That's no secret at this point huh?!? There is always so much to do, and of course we have SO much fun doing it! This year was EGGstra special. The boys had quite a few egg hunts, decorated eggs of course and played with eggs for an entire month! Let's just say their favorite activity for the past month was playing hide and seek with plastic eggs around the house!! Oh, and let's not forget about how much they loved the Easter Bunny. Not only did the boys get lots of fun goodies from the Easter Bunny, they got to see him and talk to him a couple of different times which they thought was super cool. Maybe that's why he was so good to them! As you can tell from the picture above, the boys loved making a huge mess with their new goodies from the Easter Bunny! I have never gotten them one of those huge fancy wicker baskets, so the Easter Bunny has to get creative at our house and put things around their tiny baskets. Of course Daddy and I got up a little early and saw what the bunny had brought them and starting making bets on what they would go after first...

Daddy correctly predicted Sawyer would go straight for his new ball...

Although it was all the way in the back behind everything else.
See it behind the yellow chick ball?!?

He also thoroughly enjoyed playing with his
new chick punch balloon with Daddy!!!

And apparently loved this new Easter rubber ducky!

We were both very certain Hayden would go straight
for the new super fast pull back cars!

Too bad we were both very wrong. He went
strait for his new ball just like Sawyer!
These boys love new balls!

He did quickly make it over to the cars though...

And was extremely happy with them when he got his hands on them!

I guess the Bunny got the memo that the boys love them some movies...

I think I like the expression on Sawyer's face as much
as the one on Hayden's! Yay for new movies!:)

Running to the DVD player to start his new movie!

I'm pretty sure we are close to owning every boyish Disney movie out on DVD(maybe even a few girly ones for Momma!), but I guess the Easter Bunny found a couple we didn't have! Time to start watching those for the next two weeks until their ready to switch to another one! For those of you wondering, YES they will actually sit through an entire movie. IF they are in the mood!!! If you need them to or want them to, not so much, but if they want to... absolutely! This little collage pretty much sums up Easter morning for us...

Thank you Easter Bunny! We had so much fun!

So that summed up the morning, but look what the Easter Bunny left for the boys outside...

Yay! A sand and water table!

Of course Hayden bypassed all of the eggs the bunny left
in the grass and went straight for the ones in the sand!!

It looks like they will be having lots of fun
with their new table this summer!:)

Daddy had to work Easter day, but don't worry... I still managed to get him to take a family Easter pic with us!!!

Happy Easter 2012!

As if the Easter Bunny hadn't done enough, the boys even got a little surprise in the mail from Auntie Tiz and Uncle Ball!

Can you tell how much they LOVE getting mail?!?
They were so excited to get
into their package!

Oh, and how could I forget to mention the new Sonic game the Easter Bunny brought Hayden? He was SO excited! Almost as excited as Daddy!! They had a great time playing with it together before bed...

This is what Hayden calls FUN!!!

Remember how I told you they loved seeing the Easter Bunny this year?!?

You would have never guessed by this picture huh?!?

They probably saw the bunny at least 5 times throughout the season, but chose to act like they weren't too thrilled with him during their little photo shoot. Truth be told, this was actually the very first time we took them to see the bunny. You know, the planned time. The time you get them all dressed up and ready to go see the bunny. The important time. What child wants to cooperate during that time?!? I certainly learned one thing this season... let them go see the bunny a couple of times first before you try to get their picture with him! All of the other times we were out and saw Mr. Bunny unplanned they ran up to him and hugged him, gave him high five, chatted with him... LOVED him. Just not the planned time. As a matter of fact, we were at the mall earlier this week and Hayden said, "Let's go see the Bunny Mom." Of course we couldn't because he had already gone to his home until next year, but don't you worry this Momma will never make the planned visit mistake again. Next year the "planned" visit with the Easter Bunny will be a lot more UNplanned!

Kind of like this picture of Hayden throwing
his Easter basket full of eggs up in the air!

The unplanned stuff always turns out the best. That picture was after one of our many egg hunts that you can read all about here...

Happy Hunting!

It includes our neighborhood hunt...

The little group of neighborhood kids that just keeps growing and growing!

Our big family hunt...

Grandaddy helping the boys check out their eggs!

Hayden's school hunt...

Can you tell he was more than ready to find those eggs?!?

And even some pictures like this...

So fun!

This post was long enough without adding all the hunt pictures into it also! Speaking of long, I couldn't add the egg dying or decorating pics to this post either, but it went a little something like this...

We love "tolorin' us some eggs!"

And decorating them just adds to the fun!

You can read all about our fun with making eggs here...

Fun with Eggs...

Thank goodness for separate posts huh?!? That would have been the longest post EVER. You know I can't ever decide which pictures to leave out! Speaking of pictures, you know I couldn't let Easter come and go without taking some "Easter" pics of them right? You can find that post here...

Those are some good lookin' little men!!!

But of course I couldn't leave you without a little sneak at their cute little faces!

Hilarious right?!? Gosh, I love them!

Happy Easter Everyone!

We hope you had a fun filled month like we did!
