We had the ultrasound, and....

IT'S A BOY!!! We are so excited! Based on the poll we did a few months ago, half of you were right, and half of you were wrong! It was split right down the middle... 50/50! It is going to be so much fun having a house full of boys!:) Challenging and crazy, but FUN! It took us a while, but we also finally decided on a name. We are going to name him Sawyer David Ronn. Hayden and Sawyer... cute huh?!? Another pretty cool thing is the fact that Hayden's middle name is Thomas, which is after my Dad, and Sawyer's middle name will be David, which is after Matt's Dad! We found out the sex of the baby on Matt's 31st Birthday, last Thursday! It was pretty cool getting to find out on his birthday. The ultrasound technician could tell what it was almost the instant she put the little wand on my belly. It was pretty awesome! It usually takes them a minute, but she must have put it in the perfect place because she could tell instantaneously! The pictures from the ultrasound aren't very clear because he was hiding behind the placenta, AND facing my back, but you can still see a little bit.

Ready to find out the sex of the baby!:)

I told you they were blurry... but you can see
where that arrow is pointing... IT'S A BOY!:)

Even though he was hiding, you can see his little face a little here!
Smiling with his hand under his chin!:)

After the ultrasound we went to eat for Matt's birthday. We went to a Japanese steakhouse and it was a lot of fun. The food was so yummy, and the people did a little birthday song and dance for Matt. They also gave Matt a little gift... some special chopsticks! It was so sweet! Hayden didn't like the fire, but he did good with the rest! He really loved the rice, and of course the icecream!:)

Matt taking part in his birthday dance!:)

Look how cute his little birthday dessert was!!

One more time... this time with Hayden smiling!:)

Baby D

Hayden's special day!

We had Hayden dedicated at church this past Sunday, and it was a very special ceremony. We go to Browns Bridge Community Church and they have a process called Baby D there where you go through a little program and then have your child dedicated. At the actual ceremony, there was a little message, singing, food, drink, and we had tons of time to talk and pray with our family about our hopes and dreams for Hayden. The church had us go through quite a bit of preparation for the event and it was definitely worth it. It was great getting to share the experience with our family. Hayden was his usual self... he did great, but he was ALL over the place! There were about 30 families, so we weren't the only ones with an active little one, which made it not so bad!:) The cupcakes they had did help us keep him quiet and still for a little of the time. Of course he wanted nothing to do with the food or drink I brought for him, but the frosting coated cupcake was great!! Oh, and the stage... he LOVED the stage! I don't know if he just liked the fact that he was above everyone else or what, but whatever it was... he couldn't get enough of it! We took tons of pictures...

I love this pic of Daddy, Grandpa and Hayden... so cute!

And here's everybody!:)

We couldn't get the snack cup away from him long enough to even snap a pic!

The famous cupcakes Hayden loved!:)

Absolutely LOVING his time on stage!

And his time with Gigi's glasses!:)

One out of two looking at the camera isn't bad!:)

I think Hayden was too busy watching us up on the big screen!!!

He enjoyed reading his new Bible...

And REALLY enjoyed running with his new Bible!:)

Gigi did a great job getting pics of the photographer taking our family pic!
He even got one of the whole fam that came! I will post those
professional pics as soon as we get them back!:)

He needed this nap on the way home...

So we could eat these!

And open these!!!

Hayden enjoyed opening his presents, but the
tissue paper FAR exceeded the gifts for him!!
He just LOVES the paper! Gigi always says
she is going to give him a bag full
of tissue paper as a gift!:)

He did however LOVE his snow globe!

I had to leave this picture for last... it was definitely
my favorite thing he did during the dedication!!!!
Nothing is complete without a little meltdown!:)

It was all in the name of FUN...

We have been so busy around here lately I haven't even updated the blog with all our fun events. I'm going to try to fit it all into one little post! Last week, Hayden had his last day of Gymboree along with his 15 month check-up with Dr. Papciak. About a month ago, I had my 12 week ultrasound where we got to see Baby Ronn again! Somewhere in there we have taken Hayden for his first trip to the Imagine It! Children's Museum, and for his first volunteering experience for give a day, get a day with Disney. We have taken multiple trips to the playground and even had a few birthday parties. And, to top all of that off, we had the stomach flu somewhere amidst all the chaos!:) Crazy huh?!? And to think, it was all in the name of fun! Well, the stomach flu wasn't very much fun and I don't think Hayden had a great time getting shots at his check-up, but you know what I mean!! At Hayden's 15 month check-up he was 22 pounds and 12 and 1/2 ounces(25%), 29 and 3/4 inches(10-25%), and his head measured 47.2 centimeters(50%). I always knew his brain was a little bigger than his body!!:) For now he'll just stay our short little peanut. He'll shoot up there one day! Dr. Papciak was pleased with everything. We asked about when he could start having peanut butter and when we could finally give him juice and the answers were age 2 for the peanut butter and age 6 for the juice. SIX?!? Are you kidding me? I seriously thought he would say go ahead, but he really thinks it is best if he just gets water and milk, so water and milk it is for now. I'm not sure about the age 6 thing, but we'll see! He has stayed healthy this way, so we'll stick with it for now!:) He also said we didn't need to try to transition him to his toddler bed before the baby gets here unless he is anxious to get out of the crib. He seems to love his crib, so no transitioning yet! He also told us he thinks he could be potty trained because he is so smart, so he wanted us to buy a potty chair and put him on it when we go to the potty and see what happens. We have purchased the potty chair, but haven't started sitting him on it yet. I'll let you know what happens when we decide to start that!:) Scary!!! He also got two shots this time, which he did great with. He didn't cry at all with the first one, but he did let out quite a scream with the second one. The nurse told us it was going to sting,(it was the MMR and it is live, so that is why) and it must have done just that. I thought he would have a harder time with it than he did because they were in his arm instead of leg, but he seemed to do fine. All of our shot preparation at home paid off... the crying didn't even last 3 minutes! He's a trooper. He always puts on quite a show for Dr. Papciak, and this time was no different. I guess he doesn't mind his little check-ups!:) Moving on to the 12 week ultrasound for Baby Ronn... it was so cool getting to see the baby at this stage. For some reason we didn't have this ultrasound with Hayden, so it was really cool getting to have an "extra" one this time. The baby has grown so much already! The ultrasound technician said everything looked great so we were very happy! Only 1 more week until we get to find out the sex!:) Can't wait! Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound...

This one even showed the heartbeat... 164 bpm!!

Isn't the baby getting so big?!? This is a little blurry,
but you can see the cute little hand waving to us!!
We could see it perfectly on the monitor... so cool!

We are so excited for next week to find out what we are having. Not too much longer!:) Now for Disney... back on the 2nd we had our volunteering project for Disney's Give a Day, Get a Day program. It was so much fun! Who would have ever thought getting a free ticket to Disney could be so much fun?!? We went to Turnaround Ministries, Inc. in Woodstock and helped out with household chores. It is a foster home for 17 children and we had a great time. Hayden had fun playing with the kids, and they LOVED "helping" with him. We even helped make them mashed potatoes for dinner! I think we will go back and help again sometime in the future. They were all so sweet and we really enjoyed ourselves. The kids mother was exceptional. It takes a very special person to be able to take care of 17 kids at once and not only did she do it, she did it very well. Oh, and with a 5 month old of her own I must add. She was incredible. Here are a few pictures from our time there...

Hayden getting his hair done!!!

Clean, clean, cleaning!

Hayden with two of his new friends!:)

Before we left I just had to get a picture with some of the kids.
They were all so sweet!

We are going to try and continue to volunteer here every once and a while. It was a great experience and we loved being able to help out. Next on our agenda was Imagine It! It is the Children's Museum down in Atlanta and Hayden loved it. I think he will love it more and more as he gets older, but he even had a great time at his age now. There was a little play area, a building blocks area, a garden, a train table, a ball machine, a poddle environment, a dress up career area, a water pond, a grocery shopping area, an art studio, and so much more. We didn't even do everything! I think it will be somewhere he enjoys for quite a while. Parts of it were too advanced for him, but there were plenty of age appropriate things also. Uncle Troy came with us and of course Hayden loved that. He loves spending time with Uncle Troy! Here are a few pictures...

Going down the baby slide. It was super slow!

This was the poddle area. You were supposed to put the poddle
in the correct space to match the line, but Hayden
had fun just putting them any ol' place!

He especially loved this part... he got to press
the button to make all of the poddles
fall off of the board. I think he could
have done this 100 times!

Building block with Daddy and Uncle Troy!

Somehow he found this ball amidst the blocks and just had to throw it!:)

Dress up time! He was supposed to be a construction worker,
but he couldn't leave it on long enough to see himself!
He had fun playing with it though!:)

I know it's blurry, but I just had to include this because
it was definitely one of Hayden's favorite parts of the day.
He would just go up and down this ramp all day if we let him!
It was supposed to be where you pushed your grocery cart up
and down, but he just had fun running on it and clapping for himself!

This is how excited he was every time he reached the top! Yeah Hayden!

Getting ready to go down the big banana slide... FUN!

Hayden was too busy driving the tractor to pose for my pic!:)

We had a great time at the museum and can't wait to go back again soon! Next time I think we'll even give the art studio a try!:) In addition to all these fun activities we had an activity come to an end as well. Gymboree ended for us earlier in the month. We have been taking Hayden to Gymboree classes for 6 months now and have loved it, but decided it was time to move on. We are going to start swimming lessons in the summer and he will start another class in the fall, so we decided it was time for Gymboree to end. We loved both classes we took there, and will probably do it again with our next child. Hayden LOVED it! The last week of class was a tunnel theme and he really enjoyed that. You can tell in the pictures...

The LONG tunnel...

The teensiest tunnel I have ever seen... I can't believe he actually
squeezed his body through this. Apparently it is supposed
to help with spacial awareness. I can see why!:)

Group activity... the log push. Hayden always likes this part of class!

The triangular tunnel with balls. Of course, this was his favorite because of the balls!!!

We'll see you again soon Gymboree... this time with a new baby!:) My last little update is a party update. This past weekend we attended Peyton's 2nd Birthday at Catch Air in Cumming. We have been here once before and liked it, but Hayden liked it even more this time. It was pretty cool because we had the place to ourselves. All of the kiddos had a blast. Pictures, pictures...

Daddy caught this picture in between Hayden dancing on the play mat... so cute!

Hayden was getting ready to crawl under while Daddy went through the middle... cute huh?!?

After he saw Daddy go through the middle he just had to have his turn.
Daddy helped him through!

Climbing up to the top...

He loved going through these tunnels!

And REALLY loved these HUGE balls!

He had fun in the ball pit, and we had fun covering him with balls!:)

Daddy snapped this pic just as we had finished going down a slide.
I swear Hayden liked the slide, but apparently he
was ready for his Daddy to
get him!:)

The people in charge of the party had all the kids sit on these teeny
little benches for a pic... cute idea huh?!? Kinda hard
to get 1 and 2 year olds to sit on a bench at the
same time, but it was worth a try!:)

Family pic! Check out Hayden's face!:)

Well, at the beginning I said I was going to try to fit it all into one little post, and I did fit it all in... it was just one HUGE post! If you made it to the end, congrats!:)
