SPOOOO-TEEEEE!!!!

Sweet Hayden crouched down and ready to spook Daddy and Sawyer!

AKA, Spooky!!! You also have to imagine it said in a scary "got-cha" kind of way to understand the fun with had with that one little word this past weekend at the corn maze! Who knew a corn maze could even be fun with a 1 and 2 year old? Certainly not me. I was wrong. It was great fun... one more thing for us to do during fall time!:) As if we didn't have enough huh?!? Hayden started out leading us through the maze, but after we ended up where we had begun after only 4 or 5 turns we decided to let Daddy do a little of the navigating! Don't worry, Hayden still thought he was figuring it out on his own!!! Little Sawyer enjoyed being pushed through the maze in his luxury ride! Next year he'll be out there with Hayden leading the way!

We started here...

It's this way Momma... come on!

RUN!!!!!!

But keep your eyes peeled for people hiding in the corn ready to spook yo
u...

Like Daddy!

And Hayden!

I guess his fists were supposed to "spoot" you, because
that sweet face sure couldn't get the job done!:)

Hayden and I started hiding pretty early on in the maze(we had to do something to keep it interesting!). We would get in a little corner and wait for Daddy and Sawyer to come around and then jump out and yell "Spooky" and try to startle Daddy and Sawyer. I had no idea it would turn into such a fun game, but it most certainly did. We were spooking each other the whole time and the boys could not stop laughing about it. SO fun!

At one stopping point we got a family pic... yes all those corn stalks
in the background are ones we maneuvered our way through!:)

And, believe it or not, we actually took some time to stop and look at the corn that was actually still on the stalk...

Pretty cool huh?!?

Even cooler than the corn itself was when Sawyer got to play with it!:)

Can you tell he enjoyed his exploration of the corn?!?

Whoa!

I actually had a hard time getting it from him when it was time to move on.
I think he wanted to bring it home with us! He does love eating his
corn(still grinded up like baby food of course!), so maybe
that is what he was thinking about!!!

We couldn't stay playing with the corn for too long, we had 6 check points we had to make it to before we could find our way out of the maze! There was a little game they had set up where you would punch your postcard with different punches at 6 different check points throughout the maze, and of course we had to accomplish this!

Hayden got a little tired out during our hunt for the 6 check points and tried to
sit in his seat of the stroller... I guess he had forgotten it was missing!

We left it in the car thinking he would want to walk the whole time! Note to self... just bring the seat. EVERY.single.time! All toddlers get tired... not matter what!:)

We did finally make it to check point 6! Yay us!:)

There was a cool little lookout at this final check point and of course we went up to take a look at the maze from the top...

Hayden enjoyed showing Daddy what we had just done!

And Sawyer and I just enjoyed the breeze!:)

We eventually made it here! Are we good or what?!?
Thank goodness for Daddy's good navigation!

This is exactly what he looked like when we told him
we had made it to the exit... HUH?!?
We did it?!?
So cute!

Daddy and Hayden checking out our accomplishment one last time... we went FAR!!!

Thanks to the North Georgia Corn Maze for making our first corn maze experience a good one. Not too crowded, not too hard, rewarding, but most of all FUN! We can't wait to try out another one next year!
